Live at Old Ones & Cold Ones

On the evening of March 23rd, 2025, Kris Dewberry & The Lower Todd met at the Old Ones & Cold Ones liquor store in Valley, AL to cut a 5 song acoustic EP. These songs were selected for their cohesive sound and thematic elements of Kris navigating his life in forward motion while thinking of people who shaped the journey.

The Sound

One of the primary goals when forming the band was for it to build upon and be an extension of my own sound; a blend of southern rock, rhythm & blues, and country.

Who is

Kris Dewberry?

Kris Dewberry, an Alabama native, has built a reputation as a talented singer/songwriter and performer in the Auburn area. His sound is a kickin’ blend of southern rock, rhythm & blues, and outlaw country. Active in writing and releasing music, he has collaborated with the likes of Grammy Award winning producer Larry Mitchell. Kris Dewberry is dedicated to his fans and delivering an incredible performance for every show.

Single - Rose Thigh’d Lady

Inspired by themes of Hank Williams Jr.’s “Clovis New Mexico”, the rhythmic style of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “The Ballad of Curtis Loew”, and of course my own personal experience, “Rose Thigh’d Lady” is a song about two strangers who spend one night together yet leave an impression that lasts a lifetime.
