David Acker
David is a bass player originally from Lexington Kentucky, now living in Auburn AL.
David is a dedicated bassist, having played the instrument since the age of 18. His musical groundings are in rock and blues-oriented rock, playing in bands covering artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and ACDC. His musical depth of experience extends to the Americana and Folk genre with Steven Grant Smith, with whom he recorded some of Smith's originals in the studio.
Before joining Kris Dewberry and the Lower Todd, David played for 6 years with the Atlanta based band Man Down, with artistic influences based in grunge rock and southern/sludge metal.
